Privacy
Kerkenniens has no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking pixels. Application-level collection is limited to information voluntarily submitted by visitors and preferences stored locally.
Name, email address, contribution type, subject and message are used to process the request, reply and follow up in the private administration interface. The application does not add an IP address or browser fingerprint to the stored message.
Contact messages are intended to be kept for no more than six months. Application cleanup removes older messages unless retention is necessary for an ongoing exchange or an applicable legal obligation.
The light/dark choice and My reading library are stored in localStorage on the visitor’s device. Saved articles, personal progress and resume position are not sent to the server by Kerkenniens. A random ephemeral reading-session identifier may be kept in sessionStorage to deduplicate aggregate events; it is not used to recognise a person over time.
Kerkenniens may record aggregate reading-session statistics: opening, progress thresholds and active time in small increments. No cookie, IP address, user-agent, full referrer or fingerprint is added to this measurement, and the administration interface does not present sessions as unique people.
Like any web host, the infrastructure may produce technical logs independently of the application. Their processing depends on hosting configuration and legal obligations. Kerkenniens does not use them for advertising profiling.
Messages are handled in the private administration interface and may trigger a server-side email notification if configured. The application requires no external form service, advertising CDN or third-party analytics tool.
To request access, correction or deletion of a message identifiable through your email address, use the contact form and choose a personal-data request.
