Local storage
Theme preference and My reading use localStorage on your device. These data stay in your browser. sessionStorage may contain an ephemeral reading-session identifier used to deduplicate aggregate measurements.
Private administration
Le Phare, the private administration area, uses a secure authentication session. It is not used to track public visitors.
Aggregate measurement
The site may count aggregate reading events without adding raw IP address, raw user-agent, full referrer or a persistent fingerprint to application reading data.
Why there is no consent banner
The public site sets no non-essential tracker requiring consent. Showing “Accept” or “Reject” buttons would therefore falsely suggest that advertising tracking or profiling takes place. Kerkenniens instead explains clearly what stays in your browser.
Clear local data
You can remove localStorage and sessionStorage data in your browser settings. This deletes My reading and locally stored preferences.
